Welcome to the 3rd Class webpage. We have lots of interesting news to share with you. We are very busy as usual learning new Irish, English and Maths. We have done some lovely art lessons including our very own Joan Miro style paintings. We have recently begun knitting and in the next few weeks we will be making spectacular jewellery from clay. Studying History, Geography, and of course Science has never been so exciting now that we have our very own interactive white board.
We are once again very lucky to be back swimming in the University of Limerick Sports Arena , which we love!!
In our classroom we have many lovely things. We have a reading corner with beanbags so that we can relax and read in comfort. We all get a turn on these. We also have a wonderful “Sacred Space” area where we burn incense and meditate during Religious Education. This is vey relaxing! Each week we go to the computer room where we practice our computing and typing skills.
As well as all this, we are learning the tinwhistle again and we are currently practicing our scales before the real fun begins. After school activities have started again and we certainly are spoiled for choice with Soccer, Speech and Drama, Table Tennis and Spike Ball.
Remember to visit us again soon to see our new pictures and to read all our news. Slán!!
